Job Description

Operations Team ManagerDurhamTemporary basis£27.97ph CIS/UmbrellaOur client are seeking an experienced Operations Team Manager to join their team on a temporary basis.Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the repairs & voids team to deliver high quality services, safely and to the agreed budgetary parameters.
  • Delivery of performance, cost and quality indicators, including customer satisfaction, striving for the top quartile and ensuring continuous improvement
  • Continuously engage with staff at all levels to show commitment and thereby motivate and create a clear understanding of the business needs and the values of the organisation
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and partners, promoting and delivering our services
  • Provide specialist advice on repairs & voids practices
  • Develop, manage and maintain a repairs and voids maintenance team that is flexible, well trained and commercially aware of the service sector and service requirements
  • Ensure all operational and health and safety policies, procedures and processes are adhered to and managed correctly.
  • Carry out or arrange training for operatives as and when required, in areas of expertise and competence
The successful Operations Team Manager will have:
  • Experience managing void properties or a social housing background
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Relevant professional qualification
