ABOUT THE ROLEFor a qualified nurse with a passion for the field of neurology, this role offers the opportunity for wide-ranging development. Working as part of a nurse-led team, youll provide exceptional care for those suffering from both traumatic andnon-traumatic brain or spinal injuries, as well as support for those with long-term neurological conditions. Youll be a lynch pin in the team, making a huge difference to our patients quality of life. You deliver the best in care, well deliver the bestrewards, development and training.Its a rewarding, challenging and varied role, where therell be plenty of opportunity to build on your experience. As well as developing skills in tracheotomy and ventilation youll deliver a range of treatments for thosewith spinal and acquired brain injuries. Its a rare opportunity to join a high dependency unit providing complex neurological and respiratory care as well as rehabilitation. ABOUT YOUYoull be equipped with a current NMC registration, RN (Mental Health) andevidence of continued professional development and a mentor or supervision qualification. Ideally, youll also have some experience with either neurological or respiratory conditions, but for those who share our passion for helping patients and their familyand friends through a challenging time, and providing exceptional clinical care in this fascinating field, training could be provided.
