We are working with a leading care provider who specialise in transforming the lives of children who have suffered trauma, exploitation and marginalisation and they believe passionately that by delivering outstanding care for each and every child or youngperson that they look after they will enrich children lives.As a Registered Service Manager with this organisation,you will have the opportunity to truly make a difference to childrens lives. As an established organisation that have tried and tested the way in which they work they are now a high intensity assessment-basedcare organisation, with the desired outcome of successful transition into permanency.Reporting to the Operations Manager and with the support of a Deputy/Assistant Manager, you will effectively and efficiently manage a Multi-Building Registration which accommodates 4 children in 4 separate homes within a local area. You will be responsiblefor the leadership, management and operation of this service, supporting children who predominantly are with us for a period of around 4 months, where the aim is to support both the child and their external team to move towards achieving the goals on theirpermanency plan.Essential Criteria:-
  • You will hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children`s and Young People`s workforce or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Children & Young People`s Services.
  • You will have a minimum of 1 years` experience of managing an OFSTED home that carries at least a good OFSTED rating OR be a Deputy Manager, with at least 2 years Deputy experience looking for that next step into management.
