The CompanyCSG are working with one of the leading specialist providers of material processing and handling equipment in the UK and Ireland. They specialise in the quarrying and demolition, recycling, scrap, ports and energy sectors.The business offer everything from single pieces of equipment all the way through to bespoke designed, integrated product systems for large projects. They offer an extensive portfolio of world leading OEM brands as well as innovative niche suppliers.Due to continual levels of growth they are now looking to add an additional Regional Sales Manager to the team.The RoleThe Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of sales for the allocated territory within the business. Although there are numerous national and regional businesses who require an element of account management, the main focus for this role is business development.The successful candidate will be tasked with calling on prospective and existing clients alike, assessing their needs and selling the right solution from the companys extensive portfolio of equipment.In addition to this the Regional Sales Manager will need to work closely with technical support staff, finance and aftermarket teams to provide exceptional service from initial point of contact and throughout the life cycle of the equipment.The Right PersonThe right person for the position will be able to demonstrate strong experience in the selling/hiring of heavy capital equipment directly to end user clients.They will be organised as there is a high level of autonomy offered with the position to drive new business as well as servicing existing accounts, throughout the territory.Finally, they will need to be extremely personable and adaptable to dealing with different types of clients from owner operated scrap businesses through to senior purchasing managers for multi billion pound companies, and everyone in between.Whats in it for youAs mentioned previously, this is a growing business both in the UK and Ireland and there are lots of opportunities for continual professional development and clear routes for progression across the business.In addition to this is an extremely competitive base salary, commission and bonus structure, company vehicle/allowance and range of benefits.If youd like to discuss the Regional Sales Manager position in more detail; please contact me directly.
