Job Description

Regional Biomedical Team Leader - North of England - £47,000 - £53,000 & £6,000 Car AllowanceReporting to the UK Field Service Manager the main purpose of the role will be to proactively manage all Biomedical Operations in your assigned region.Main Duties;

  • Responsible for managing all field-based staff within the region as applicable.
  • Ensuring that all engineers provide daily on-site repair, preventative maintenance, and asset management of medical devices within specified hospital locations in region.
  • To work with and support other Regional Team leads in achieving contract KPIs across all regions and to build long term relationships with customers, subcontractors and staff to ensure responsiveness and support are provided to customers.
  • Recruit, induct, develop, and support a team of Biomed Engineers to deliver customer satisfaction and contract KPIs
  • Complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturers guidelines when required
Additional Duties:
  • Oversee scheduling and completion of workload for all engineers within region
  • Maintain service documentation in line with business requirements.
  • Responsible for escalating and defining necessary resources to maintain equipment
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers for spare part and contract quotations
  • Responsible for delivering customer satisfaction
  • Deal with OEMs service staff and management when required
  • Maintain tools and test equipment in line with Standards
  • Maintain spare part stock wherever necessary
What you will need;
  • Certified OEM trainings
  • Qualification in Engineering, electronics or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering, desirably at Bachelors level
  • Familiarity with appropriate national and local regulatory standards
  • Minimum of 5 years staff management
  • Has worked in clinical areas and involving patient communication
  • Competent with a broad range of medical device
  • Biomedical Engineering experience within the UK
Package;
  • Basic Salary of between £47,000-£53,000 depending on experience
  • £6k Car Allowance
  • Pension
  • Work from home - Travel across sites in the North of England as/when required.
