We have a comprehensive understanding of this challenging but highly rewarding sector, this enable us to place the most suitable candidates with clients and find the best opportunities for candidates.We are advertising this fantastic opportunity onbehalf of a local authority in Lancashire who are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker to be part of the Adult Learning Difficulties team to work in an office-based role and as part of an experienced specialist learning difficulties team.Job Responsibilities:You will assess service user in Hospitals, Care Homes, and their own Homes You will manage a workload with the support of senior colleagues in accordance with the directorate and other agency policies and procedures. You will ensure that records are kept inaccordance with the policies and procedures of the directorate and other agencies. You will maintain and develop communication and cooperation with colleagues, individuals, and groups in the community and other statutory or voluntary agencies. Dealing withcomplex and varied cases Completing fact finding and full investigations You will identify the needs of clients and mobilise available resources as appropriate. You will provide professional assistance and guidance to colleagues within the directorate andother agencies as appropriate. Dealing with Adults with Learning Difficulties.Candidate Requirements: Degree in relevant professional or equivalent qualification e.g. Certificate of Qualification in Social Work or Diploma in Social Work. Previous experiencein Adult Learning Disabilities Team.
