Job Description

The CompanyIn order to support the continued growth my client has restructured to take a "global" approach to their IT strategy. With new sites opening in the UK, mainland Europe and North America theyre implementing a range of new SaaS business systems to complete thedigital transformation.The RoleThe role of the Programme Manager is to project manage the delivery of SaaS (Software as a service) implementations in line with the global IT strategy. This role will play a pivotal link between Finance, IT and Global Shared Services Delivery Team and thereforewe are looking for someone with extensive experience in all aspects of large complex systems implementations.Working with market leading products and partners, the role will cover both new projects & BAU.The role is a critical part of an exciting transformation journey, and will play a significant part in the success of delivering the global IT strategy.Duties and responsibilities

  • Managing and implementing business wide digital transformation of SaaS solutions
  • Manage customer expectations and monitor agreed scope, budget and timing of the project
  • Work with senior stakeholders to develop a clear project scope
  • Manage relationships between sponsors/owners, technical teams, stakeholders and any 3rd parties
  • Responsible for devising, organising and implementing large scale projects that are very complex in nature
  • Develop, maintain and manage a detailed implementation project plan including timeline and risk log
  • Vendor management to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, act as the primary point of contact for external vendors
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating to senior management as appropriate
  • Create RACI to support the project delivery
  • Manage project budget and provide monthly reporting
  • Manage project governance, lead monthly steering group and project meetings
  • Produce change impact assessments and associated implementation plans to ensure change is embedded to the business
  • Mapping of business processes, working with Business Analysts, and ensure that these are translated into system flows. Ensure that UAT is conducted, and all critical business processes are successfully transited to new systems
The Person
  • A good understanding of Finance processes, previous experience implementing financial systems is required
  • Qualified project management practitioner, able to produce detailed project plans as well as manage multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Proven ability to deliver projects in adaptive way, to time, quality and budget
  • Ability to work at pace and deliver several priorities simultaneously to achieve set deadlines
  • Experience of identifying business benefits and producing benefits realisation plans
  • Demonstrable experience of ERP systems implementation such as SAP, Netsuite, MS Dynamics or Workday
This role will require someone who can be office based, near Durham, 2-3 days per week. Salary is up to £70,000 and the role will come with an excellent potential to progress your career, gaining large scale project and systems experience.
