Job Description

This leading, customer focused organisation are looking to grow there team and welcomean experienced commercial account handler to the business.If you are passionate about providing a high-quality service and can build lasting professional relationships, we want to hear from you.Job descriptionAs an Account Handler you will be a fundamental part of the organisations success and growth, you will support a number of key functions within the organisation from Account Executives to Directors.Duties will include;

  • Assisting the account executives in providing bespoke insurances for designated clients. This includes pre-writing technical risk analysis, ensuring a working technical knowledge of policy coverage, clauses and exclusions.
  • Providing technical and administrative support to relevant account executives in accordance with the company’s philosophies and standards.
  • Communicating with Underwriters and clients daily, including negotiating premiums. Building and managing strong relationships, promoting a positive company image.
  • Developing knowledge of both personal and commercial clients, with an understanding of each client’s insurance history and the polices they require to be maintained.
  • Maintaining market knowledge for required cover placement including development of current client cross selling activities.
  • Accurate electronic file management.
  • Maintaining compliance with the company’s Procedures Manual and with the requirements of the existing regulators.
  • Ensuring renewals deadlines are achieved through a proactive customer service approach.
