Job Description

Interaction Recruitment are representing a well-established engineering company specializing in hydraulic systems and solutions. Their team is dedicated to delivering high-quality services to their clients across various industries. As they continue to grow,our client is currently seeking a skilled Hydraulic Fitter to join their team in Durham.Salary: Negotiable depending on experienceWorking Hours: Monday to Friday- 07:30 until 15:30 with occasional overtime available which is paid at enhanced rates.Please note: working away from home sometimes required, costs are covered by the business. As a Hydraulic Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, fault finding, repair, flushing, and testing of hydraulic equipment. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in hydraulics, along with hands-on experiencein hydraulic installations and maintenance.Responsibilities:

  • Perform hydraulic installations, services, fault finding, repairs, flushing, and testing of hydraulic equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues, identifying and resolving faults efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop solutions and improvements for hydraulic systems.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in hydraulic installations, services, fault finding, repair, flushing, and testing of hydraulic equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and their operation.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hydraulic system issues efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required and occasionally work away from home.
  • Additional overtime may be required based on project demands.
