Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated HR Advisor to join our team!This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has developed experience in a range of employee relations matters in a fast-moving organisation and enjoys variety.About the HR Dept: We provide an outsourced HR service to a wide range of businesses and charities. We become a companys outsourced HR department. Employees are are a Companys best assets. Many SMEs are not large enough to warrant the costs of employinga full time HR presence, but at some point, everyone needs a helping hand, and this is where we can help, allowing business owners and managers to get on with the day to day running of their business.We provide support to businesses across the North East, from Darlington to North Tyneside.Job Type:Full-time hours are 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday). Some flexibility in start/finish times can be agreed and there is a possibility of part-time option available. This role is predominantly home-based with travel across the North East when required.Main Duties:This role is responsible for providing HR advice and guidance to business owners and managers across a wide range of issues. This can include:

  • Attendance Management
  • Performance Management and Conduct
  • Restructure and Redundancy
  • Disciplinary and Grievance
  • Recruitment
  • Project work
You will be part of a team and carry your own client base. You will also work with the HR Operations Manager and Director to support special projects. We therefore require you to be flexible and versatile.Qualifications and experience required for this role:
  • CIPD Level 5 Qualified or equivalent experience (must be willing to work towards Level 5)
  • Knowledge of UK employment law
  • Previous experience within a fast moving environment
  • High level of interpersonal skills, placing high importance on integrity
  • Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to deal with conflicting priorities
  • Strong Communicatorexcellent verbal, written and strong telephone communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships quickly
  • Self-starter, able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects at once
  • Focused on delivering results whilst maintaining excellent customer service and quality standards
  • Resourceful, proactive and able to initiate activity
  • Positive and emotionally resilient
  • Team playerwe are small team and need to help each other out
  • Regular use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle is required to enable visits to client sites
