Due to current business requirements, this multi-disciplined company that enjoys a good reputation in providing various safety solutions including Hygiene, Asbestos, Fire, and Health & Safety to clients from all levels, is actively seeking the services of an enthusiastic, self-motivated, conscientious and focused Fire Risk Assessor based in Durham and will include applications from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Sunderland, Darlington and the surrounding area.Qualifications & Experience:The applicant must hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion. Technician status with recognised bodies - IFSM/IFPO/IFE would be beneficial but not essential. Must have an in-depth knowledge and experience of undertaking fire risk assessments.Must have previous practical experience working within this role and within other sectors and must be well versed with the Health & Safety procedures.Must come from a good educational background and must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.Key Role Will Entail:Undertaking Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety Risk Assessments in various industry sectors - commercial, industrial and residential.Dealing with the following:Fire plan drawings, fire drills, fire warden, use of extinguishers, real fire training, briefings, delivering training courses, etc.Delivering presentations and training.Delivering consultancy services in regard to Fire safety/riskGetting involved with the Health & Safety pertaining to fire risk assessments.Developing action plans.Producing and writing comprehensive and accurate reports.Developing a client base.Dealing with issues effectively and appropriately.Liaising with clients.The successful candidate will be of smart disposition, confident, methodical and flexible and have the ability to show competency in undertaking Fire Risk Assessments and at the same time work without supervision.Must be flexible with regards to travelling.In return, this company offers a competitive salary, depending on expertise, company car and along with many other benefits.We are inundated with applications and we will endeavour to get back in touch, however if you have applied to Future Select and you have not heard from us after a week, on this occasion, you will not have been successful.
