Job Description

*** Calling all Oracle Financial Systems Support Analysts ***(Fully Remote)(Inside IR35)I am working with a client who are looking to bring on a Financial System Support Analyst to support our clients Financial Oracle systemsWhat you will be doing:

  • Working in the Corporate Product Team to provide an effective and professional support service to users of the Financial Systems.
  • Carrying out routine operations and maintenance of the Financial Systems and act as first line of support to Financial Systems users.
  • Investigating problems and identify opportunities for improvements to the systems.
  • Working with business users and IS staff to provide functional input into developing solutions which will enhance the systems.
  • Working closely with development and system users to ensure that functional and/or technical solutions meet the business needs and are fully tested and documented before implementation. Apply approved configuration changes.
  • Setting up and maintaining Financial Systems documentation library and knowledge database.
What you need:
  • Demonstrable IT system experience in a support or consultancy role
  • Experience working in 1st & 2nd line Support
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financial and related packages would be an advantage.
  • Strong general computer literacy.
  • Ability to use SQL based facilities and query tools, such as TOAD and Discoverer would be an advantage. * A working knowledge of standard accounting practices would be an advantage.
