We are working with a client based on the outskirts of Durham in their search for an Accounts Assistant. This would either suit someone at entry level position who is keen to learn and progress within finance. You would ideally have some practical experiencein the areas below. It could also suit someone who is experienced and happy in a predominantly ledger based finance role. Inputting, coding and processing purchase invoices Sales ledger duties Daily banking Controlling petty cash Completing a range of ad-hoc reconciliations as requested. Carrying out a range of general admin duties.The ideal applicant will have a completed an accounts related college course or have a min of 1 years experience working in a finance department.Personal qualities required:- IT literate- Numerate- Accuracy- Organised and methodical- Keen to learn
