Job Description

Field Support Operative Solar Farms £12.61ph - 37.5 hours per weekOTE - £30,000 - £40,000 +North East - Durham, Newcastle, Leeds, York and surrounding areas Days - Monday to FridayA field support operative is required due to significant growth. An enthusiastic, motivated and reliable is required to join our highly skilled and experience team. Working for a large Renewable Energy company within the Solar Farm sector in and around theNorth EastBenefits

  • Salary: £12.61ph
  • OTE - £30,000 - £40,000 +
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Overtime - x1.5 over 37.5 hours, x1.5 Saturday, x2.0 Sunday
  • Pension

What the role entails:
  • Carry out visual inspections on solar PV and energy storage sites and identifying any issues or potential issues on a mobile device.
  • Assist local Field Service Technicians with intrusive maintenance
  • Responsible for the upkeep in vegetation using trimmers, mowers other industrial vegetation management equipment.
  • Working safely on each and every task as a priority and following policies and procedures.
What experience you need to be the successful Field Support Operative:
  • Machinery qualifications are desirable although not essential
  • Health and safety qualifications are desirable although not essential
  • Basic electrical qualifications are desirable although not essential
  • A full driving license is required
