In so doing, the post holder also oversees the completion of paperwork and monetary transactions associated with international distribution in a timely manner. In line with the companys approach to always go the extra mile, it is expected that the post holder will provide an excellent level of customer service.Export Customer Adviser required for a new permanent role in the Durham area. This is a full-time role and offers an immediate start.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and issue quotations and relevant technical details within the time frame set via the department KPIsPreparation of despatch for orders, to plan and coordinate international shipment of goods - including invoicing, packing lists and Export documentationNegotiate with shippers, agents and vendors to ensure service is maintained whilst costs are kept to a minimumProvide technical telephone advice and guidance on product and applicationsOrder Entry into the system to provide the customer with order confirmations in a timely mannerProvide product and order availability, delivery status and pricing adviceLiaise with internal departments to progress ordersKnowledge and awareness of Foreign Culture and religions, particularly Europe, Middle East, Far East and Americas, along with relationship building skillsExperience RequiredIt is important that applicants demonstrate relevant experience, and have worked within export previously, possessing the following experience: Knowledge of customs and excise requirementsKnowledge of Incoterms 2010Good organisational skillsHigh level of attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer focusRemuneration£24,000 to £25,000 per annum.This is a permanent position and Corepeople Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.By applying for this job you accept the T&Cs, Privacy Policy and Disclaimers which can be found on our website.
