They work with the latest technologies and they are emerging into a truly world class manufacturer.The role of Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician promotes creditable work life balance opportunities as within the shift rotation, Technicians receive a week off per month.THE ROLEOperating within a high-volume manufacturing facilityWorking to deliver planned and reactive maintenanceUpdating maintenance schedulesWorking with PLC systems to perform fault finding and analysisPerforming asset strip down and repairWorking to maintain automated production linesOptimising manufacturing processesimproving efficiencies, reducing wastage, enhancing yield and reducing costTHE PERSONTime served Electrical Maintenance Technician who has served a recognised ApprenticeshipHolding multi skilled capabilities including bench skills, basic fabrication and basic weldingAble to undertake fault finding and diagnostic workproficient with the use of PLCsAble to work with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, gears, pumps, valves, etcAble to effectively identify and resolve manufacturing issuesProficient with ITExcellent communicatorAble to abide by H&STHE PACKAGEThe hours of work are 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am rotating. The business operates what is known in the industry as the 5 shift pattern. This means that compared to the traditional 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern, you work less weekends and each month in therotation, you get 1 week off. The most amount of shifts you will work in a row is 4 and usually you will work no more than 3 days/nights in a rowThe role is weekly paid. The role averages a 42-hour week. The basic hourly rate is £15.15 per hour, plus shift allowance.
