About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arose to work within our Chester Le Street and Durham branch teams.This duo of branches will see you working with two fantastic, experienced teams, ready to share their knowledge to coach and support you in your new role.No two days will be the same, Chester Le Street will see you working in a busy branch in the heart of the high street, one of our highest transactional branches, you will always be kept busy serving our loyal regulars as well supporting customers new tothe society with their financial needs.With strong links within our local community and a real team focus on Health and Well-being you will often find yourself out and about in Chester, from local volunteering to scavenger hunts, we can guarantee there is never a dull day.Combine this with a trip to one of our most scenic locations - Durham, although the quieter of the two branches you will certainly find yourself kept busy here. Durham is a thriving branch that sees a very jam-packed diary for our customer and financialadvisors, situated under the famous golden tea pot, you will be welcomed in with a cuppa and a very warm welcome from the team.Both Branches receive fantastic Customer Satisfaction scores and within the heart of Area 4 and our South team, provide opportunities to work collaboratively with other branch teams, join the monthly quiz and get to meet our senior leaders who often popin for a chat.Every day is different in the life of a Customer Adviser, from opening and setting up the tills ready for the working day ahead, making customer appointments, processing customer transactions at the counter, assisting in the opening of savings accounts tocashing up and closing at the end of the day! The list is endless however at the heart of everything we do is our customer.About YouAll of our Customer Advisers work closely together so you will have real team spirit and thrive working with others and meeting new people.Relationships are really important to us, therefore youll need to be great with people; building rapport easily to understand how best to help the customer, whether that be suggesting options they may not be aware of, or creating leads for the relevantadvice specialists in branch and Head Office.Youll have Customer Service experience that demonstrates your attention to detail and accuracy. It should go without saying that having a commitment to ensuring good outcomes for customers is a given. This role is perfect for those that like change as youwill be "roving" between different branches. This will give you valuable experience and insight into a variation of customer needs and communities.
