Job Description

Are you a highly skilled CNC Miller looking for an exciting opportunity to make your mark in the machining world We have an exceptional position waiting for you at our clients facility in Durham. As a CNC Miller, youll be at the forefront of machiningoperations, operating state-of-the-art CNC milling machines to craft precision components from a variety of materials, including steel, stainless, and superalloys. If you have experience with Mazak controllers and a passion for quality work, we want to hearfrom you!Working Hours:

  • Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 06:00-14:00 & Friday 06:00-12:00
  • Late Shift: Monday to Thursday 14:00-23:25
Salary: £17 - £20 per hour (Experience-Dependent) + 20% Shift AllowanceCompany Benefits:
  • Overtime: 1.5x Standard Rate (Frequent Opportunities)
  • 4% Pension Scheme
  • 5 Weeks Paid Holiday Plus 8 Bank Holidays
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines, with a special focus on Mazak controllers.
  • Work with a diverse range of materials, from steel to stainless and superalloys.
  • Craft precision components that meet design and quality standards.
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust when necessary.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with your team to enhance production processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller.
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines, particularly with Mazak controllers.
  • Strong material expertise, machining steel, stainless, and superalloys.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Keen attention to detail and a dedication to high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts.
