Job summaryThis is a great opportunity to join the Facilities & Property Asset Management (FPAM) Team to deliver facilities management services through outsourced contractual relationships. The FPAM team holds one of the largest budgets and delivers Facilities Management,Health & Safety, and other property services for our client.In this key role, you will work closely with FPAM team members to establish current trends, as well as utilise and interrogate both internal data sets and supplier provided Management Information to highlight potential opportunities and risks to the FPAM seniorleadership team.The role may suit somebody that has worked as a Budget Manager, Project Controller or have experience of Business Partnering.Job descriptionAs a Business Manager (Facilities), you will have Line Management responsibility of the Facilities and Property Asset Management Business Support team and proactive management and monitoring of Facilities and Property Asset Management staff and non-staffbudgets.You will oversee, develop, and improve the data sets held by the FPAM team, ensuring they are accurate and relevant to aid decision making within the team to improve services and/or value for money. Providing essential support to the FPAM senior leadershipteam, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting is completed on time for FPAM budgets.You will be the responsible owner for project performance monitoring reports and accompanying data, ensuring these are accurate and delivered in a timely manner to report progress and status of projects to the Head of FPAM. This will include undertakingmonthly forecasting exercises with detailed analysis of spend via thorough review of transaction reports; identifying, monitoring, and reviewing financial risks and opportunities to ensure accurate reporting and will report on and explain financial data viamonthly meetings with the FPAM Senior Leadership Team.This role will require regular travel to other sites and there is an expectation this may be one or two visits per month.Person specificationTo meet the requirements of this role you will have experience of budget management and financial planning/forecasting. You have effective relationship building and stakeholder management skills and are proficient in data and financial analysis with an intermediateor higher level of Microsoft Excel skills.
