THE BUSINESSAre you an experienced Bid Writer from a Construction background Are you looking to join a business that truly values their staff and offers great development opportunities If you have answered YES to the above, please read on!Westray Recruitment Group is seeking to appointan established Bid Writer for our Tier 1 Building Construction client based in Durham. Within this role you will be required to record and monitor success rates, recording trends and highlighting areas for improvement.THE ROLEWorking alongside the bid team, you will support the bid process by providing creative high quality, articulate and compelling winning bids that are well written accurate, concise, and visually engaging, effectively conveying the required message to theclients requirements. You will be collating bid information from various internal departments (commercial, HSE, social values) and formatting the proposals into a presentable bid for the client.You will be confident in interrogating clients ITT documentation to produce written content for both Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and Tender submissions.THE PERSONThe successful candidate will hold;
  • Industry experience
  • Successful in winning bids
  • Experience in live schemes and pre-construction activities
  • A strong team player
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight timescales and deadlines
  • Ability to produce high-quality, cutting-edge documents
  • Previous experience working within the construction industry
  • Creative / Articulate
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills
  • Proven track record of delivering in this role
THE PACKAGE
  • £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
  • Car/Allowance

  • 8.00-5.00 Mon to Fri
