Job Description

Air Conditioning Engineer / AC Service Engineer required in the North East area for our client, a leading air conditioning company that has 6 regional offices and been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkeysolution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of air conditioning and chiller solutions.Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.The air conditioning engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRFs, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms.Our client is renowned for providing first-class customer service and exceptional quality of work with their engineers clearly demonstrating a high-level technical mastery.Air Conditioning Engineer - North East - Position Requirements

  • Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
  • Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
  • 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
  • Based in the Sunderland/Middlesbrough region
Air Conditioning Engineer - North East - Position Remuneration
  • Basic Salary £30,000 - £40,000 DOE
  • £50,000 OTE
  • Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
  • Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months service - Up to £3,600 tax free
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x
  • Option of 40 hour working week with travel paid after 30 mins each way or 50 hour working week paid door to door
  • On call allowance (1 in 4, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)
  • Pension
  • 22 days holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.
