Accident InvestigatorWe are looking for a full-time or part-time Road Traffic Accident Investigator with either an engineering or police collision investigation background.Accident Investigator Responsibilities:The role primarily involves investigating the causes of road traffic accidents and other vehicle related incidents wherever they occur, preparation of expert reports and, where necessary, presenting that evidence at case conferences or in court.Accident Investigator Requirements:Successful candidates are likely to have significant forensic collision investigation experience, sound mechanical and vehicular knowledge, and be up-to-date with advances in this field, including tachographs and route trace analysis.Applicants will need a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline or subject relevant experience. A full UK driving licence is required for this role.The successful candidate will need to be a critical thinker, self-motivated with the ability to take responsibility for their own workload and meet strict deadlines.
