Job Description

5 Axis Miller-Mazak| Durham | Full Time/Shift Pattern| £18.00 per hour + 20% shift & 33% nightsW G Jones has a long and established reputation for customer excellence and responsiveness in the supply of complex, quality critical precision machined components and related assemblies.In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacture of quality parts.This position will be on a two shift rotating pattern with a period of training/familiarisation pending past experience etc. Please note however nights (or extended working) will be required in times of increased customer demands.

  • 06.00-14.00 Monday to Thursday - 06.00-12.00 on a Friday
  • 14.00-22.00 Monday to Thursday - 12.00-16.00 on a Friday
  • Nights to be discussed

What will my role as a 5 Axis Miller look like
  • Run, set & operate 5 Axis Milling machined.
  • Setting tools & producing components.
  • Loading/unloading of CNC machine tools and fixtures.
  • Ability to select, set and change tools.
  • Working on highly technical products to tight tolerances.
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and policy.
  • Complete necessary daily documents such as OEE Sheets.
