Job Description

The Staffing network is a Labour provider across the UK.Our Client, an international Steel Stockholder and Wholesaler, has an immediate vacancy for an Operations Administrator based in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland.As the Operations Admin, you will be an expert on the SAP system, training will be offered, managing the movement of stock through the system and covering goods in and allocations when needed. This is an all-rounder role as you will be working on operational,logistics and commercial tasks day to day. Accuracy and previous admin experience are essential to this role and you will be a key part in helping this site grow.Your main duties will be:

  • To fully understand and to General administration on Transport procedures, liaising and ensuring driver documentation up to date, support all aspects of the business, from quote stage, right through to delivery service
  • Booking deliveries and handling transport queries
  • To administratively control goods in and out, including booking in stock, running picking notes and PGIing
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure the correct processes are being completed
  • Raise SAP sales, purchase and transfer orders, stock relocation and adjustments
  • Generate reports and general housekeeping on SAP system for orders and deliveries
  • Continually monitor all aspects of performance against agreed KPIs
Essential experience, skills and knowledge:
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Self-motivated, reliant, diligent, analytical and numerate.
  • PC Literate.
  • Flexible to learn different departmental duties
  • High attention to detail
  • IT literate and confident working on systems and excel
  • Learns quickly
Desirable experience, skills and knowledge:
  • A working knowledge of computer windows based applications and SAP
  • Previous experience in manufacturing industry or transport administration
