Job Description

Job Profile for Electronic Product Engineer - 00265781Electronic Product Engineer required for a software company based in Dunfermline. My client specialise in Aviation products including IFE) systems, wireless streaming systems, in-flightpurchasing, engineering document management, portable booking systems and general purposeIT systems. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Product Engineer will support and improveelectronics products and clients end user service. Primarily office based with opportunityfor occasional travel to assist client field service. The ideal candidate will have experience with Electronics and electromechanical builds.Electronic Product Engineer Position Overview

  • Portable products - quality control, maintenance and improvement of hardware
  • Micro SD card Duplication stations - in collaboration with IT system
  • Product QC equipment - designing, building and maintaining hardware configuration power cycling and stress testing stations.
  • Providing ongoing electronic hardware quality control and improvement where required and identifying/creating solutions.
  • Testing electronic hardware improvements and ensuring they meet requirements.
  • Overseeing electronic hardware improvement implementation
Electronic Product Engineer Position Requirements
  • Experience with Electronics and electromechanical builds
  • Experience in a technical work environment - researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting,
and identifying solutions to resolve hardware and/or software issues.
  • Knowledge of / experience with remote access tools e.g., TeamViewer
  • Knowledge of / experience with a command line interface.
  • Microsoft Office proficient, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Further education in Electrical or Software engineering.
  • Valid passport and the unrestricted flexibility to travel overseas to key client locations at
