Asset Manager - Housing Dunfermline - with Hybrid working Starting Salary £41,822 per annum Full Time, Permanent 35 hours per week Closing Date: Interview Date: Our client develops and build sustainable communities, making it their priority to provide homes which help their tenants live the lives they choose.They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Manager to join their team, helping them to make a difference by delivering positive impacts for their customers and communities. The role reports to the Director of Finance, Governance and Assetsand offers the opportunity to get involved at all levels of the business, including the senior leadership team and Board.The main objective for this key role is to ensure that their tenants live in safe, efficient and well-maintained homes.To achieve this, you will plan a rolling five-year detailed programme of major component replacements and other cyclical works as well as managing and advising on key property-related compliance requirements.In addition, you will support the development and acquisition of new housing stock, including the preparation of appropriate tender and contract documentation.They are looking for an Asset Manager with a construction-related qualification (HNC or higher) or extensive experience in a similar role.With strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will have experience of developing partnerships and the ability to build collaborative relationships with a range of community stakeholders. You will also have experience of overseeing multiple, complexcontracts and a sound understanding of procurement methods, processes and legislation.Experience of the strategic management of a stock condition survey is essential, in addition to an understanding of legislation covering areas such as legionella, asbestos, gas safety and electrical safety. Knowledge of social housing grant funding is alsorequired for this role. An understanding of the Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH) guidance, the Scottish Housing Regulator Annual Return on the Charter (ARC) and the Scottish Housing Quality Standard would all be desirable.Strong organisation and time management skills are a must, and you will also have a customer-focused approach with a drive to continuously improve services.Due to the nature of the role, you will need to hold a driving licence and have use of a car insured for business use.In return, they can offer you:
