Job Description

Our public sector client require a number of cleaners to work within educational facilities in the East Dunbartonshire areas. These areas include; Milgavnie, Bearsden, Milton of Campsie, Lenzie, Kirkintilloch, Lennoxtown, Bishopbriggs, Auchinairn and Torrance.Hours of work are 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch break.Pay rate of £9.34 per hour.Job Details and Responsibilities

  • Clean as appropriate all surfaces, furnishings and fittings using the specified equipment and cleaning products.
  • Achieve and maintain agreed standards of cleaning of an area of allocated work.
  • Use of cleaning equipment including buffing machines and vacuum cleaners.
  • Maintain sufficient supplies of cleaning materials and consumables relevant to the working area and ensure that they are stored safely and securely at all times.
  • Use, maintain and ensure the safe storage of cleaning equipment including any waste compactor equipment and to report defects to the appropriate person.
  • Work safely in accordance with the company Health and Safety policy.
    • Applicants must have a current PVG in place, or be able to pass a PVG check as this will be necessary to carry out these roles. If you do not have one in place currently then you will be put through one ASAP.Start date from 11th August therefore you must be available from that date.
