Job Description

Female only PA - Dumbarton/west Dunbartonshire area30-35 hours per week - Shifts will include days, evenings, nights and sleepovers and weekends.Driving licencewould be desirable but not essentialLet us introduceyou toLisa: We are looking for an experienced female to work within one of our Dumbarton services with Lisa. Lisa lives in her own home and requires 24-hour support from Support staff to maintain independent living. Lisa is wheelchair bound with a learning disability.Although Lisa is non-verbal she can communicate well with Makaton and has developed her own unique style of communication with staff. Lisa has a great sense of humour and enjoys going out in her own car. Lisa enjoys watching music and YouTube during down timeat home. Lisa enjoys a noisy environment and requires staff who can withhold noise levels during shift. Moving and handling is required on a 2:1 basis and full training for staff is provided with use of hoist and other manual handling equipment for Lisa. Staffwill support Lisa with medication, finances, Personal Care and household tasks within her own home. Lisa enjoys going out in her own wheelchair accessible van for drives and visiting new places. Lisa is currently residing in Dumbarton, but this may change and staff will be required to work within her new property within the West Dunbartonshire area.That is why Lisa needs you!
