Job Description

We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a well known UK high street brands warehouse in Burton-Upon-Trent, Staffordshire. These are long-term ongoing opportunities!

  • The X46 bus from Dudley Zoo (DY1 4AN) can get you to and from the warehouse in time for the shifts.
  • Weekly inductions taking place in the centre of Dudley - immediate starts following attendance to induction.
Warehouse Operative shifts and pay rates:
  • 12 hour day shift: 10:00am to 10:00pm
  • Working 4 days out of 7, meaning you will need to be available to work weekends
  • £10.00ph pay rate
  • £11.00ph FLT rate
  • Night shift also available with premium nights rate.
  • Weekly pay scheme
Warehouse Operative job duties:
  • Picking and packing lightweight stock
  • Labelling products
  • Use of hand-held scanners to pick the correct stock
  • Gift wrapping
  • Using manual handling equipment (scanners, pallet trucks etc).
  • Quality checking of items to ensure no defects
  • The company offer free fork lift truck training to selected candidates (in-house licence given upon completion)
Warehouse Operative person specification:
  • You need to be able to get to an off-site induction held in Dudley (DY1)
  • You need to be OK with using the X46 bus from Dudley which drops you off right outside the warehouse.
  • You will need to be comfortable with working on your feet in a busy environment
  • You do not need experience in a similar role, as full on the job training is provided!
