Job Description

Job Title: Technical Sales ManagerLocation: DudleySalary: £45,000 + Car Allowance, Bonus and PensionJob type: Full Time, negotiable preferably Monday to FridayA&T Enclosures aim to make the best quality enclosures on the market. To achieve this we invest heavily in our staff and new technology.The role: As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand the customer base. Results are achieved by influencing customers and potential customers to place businesswith the company, motivating and involving the A&T team and working with colleagues to achieve common goals.Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including market segmentation, and product positioning
  • Sales Forecasting: Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and sales data to forecast future sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, including sales revenue, pipeline, progress toward goals, to senior management
  • Sales Process Optimisation: Continuously evaluate and improve the sales processes, procedures, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and analyse customer feedback to make informed decisions and enhance the quality of products or services
  • Travel to customer sites, to build relationships and influence sales
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of successful sales management and achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM tools
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends, preferably switchgear markets & standards
  • Flexibility to travel throughout UK
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
