Job Description

  • Salary:Up to £18,832.35 per annum
  • Hours:37.5 hours per week
  • Contract:Term Time Only, Permanent
The Wenlock School opened in September 2018. We are a co-educational day school catering for pupils aged 7-18 with a range of complex needs including a range of social, emotional and mental health needs and also pupils who have been diagnosed with autismor demonstrate behaviours associated with autism.This opportunity is in Dudley, within commutable distance of Wolverhampton, Birmingham and surrounding areas.The opportunityEnjoy a rewarding education career and have a real impact on Pupil’s lives. Each individual has so much potential, and they will rely on you to guide their learningjourneys.You will help prepare learning materials and run classroom activities, with plenty of hands-on experience and some supervision too. You will take responsibility for their emotional and physical needs, supporting them to develop as individuals and engagewith the world.Supporting pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs is important and rewarding work, and you will benefit from the tremendous support offered by our hugely experienced teams. As you help our pupils and young people achieve real andsignificant progress, you will enjoy having a direct, positive impact on their developing lives.Who we are looking forIf you come from hospitality, the army, outdoor activity centres or an office-based job but are eager to help vulnerable pupils and young people to live happy, fulfilling lives, this is the role for you.
