Service Desk AnalystRole: Service Desk AnalystLocation: DudleySalary: £28,000 DOEAre you passionate about providing top-tier IT support to a variety of clients in a dynamic environment Were seeking a dedicated IT Technician to join our clients MSP team, delivering exceptional support to our diverse client base.Our Client:Our client a forward-thinking Managed Service Provider (MSP) committed to delivering proactive and reliable IT solutions to our clients.   • Client-Focused Support: Provide comprehensive support for network infrastructure, server administration, and end-user needs across our diverse client portfolio.
  • Data Security & Performance: Implement and maintain robust data security measures while ensuring high performance and reliability for client systems.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients, offering responsive Tier 1 & Tier 2 support, accurate call logging, and timely issue resolution.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory, desktop operating systems, firewall technologies, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in support desk or field engineer roles.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server (2003/2008), Exchange Server (2003/2007/2010), Active Directory, and desktop OS from XP to Windows 8.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Ability to deliver excellent customer service, addressing diverse client needs promptly and effectively.
  • Networking & Security Skills: Familiarity with firewall technologies (e.g., Watchguard, Cisco), DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VPN technologies, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Willingness to pursue further professional accreditations and ongoing training.
