Job Description

Are you an experienced Roofing/Cladding/Facades Estimator Are you based within the West MidlandsDue to growth and expansion, Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for an experienced Roofing Estimator on behalf of our Dudley based client. Due to increased workload and inbound enquiries, there has been a need within my clients busy sales team for an Estimator, specifically with knowledge of industrial and commercial roofing, to join the team. The primary role of the Roofing Estimator would be to visit sites to measure and asses works which need completing, which would then be built into a report/estimate to suit the customer. The ideal Estimator with a knowledge of roofing and cladding, would be offered a competitive salary of around £30k Per Annum.Duties:

  • Visiting customer sites to inspect and assess works that need completing.
  • Securing new business and building a pipeline of works for the business.
  • Liaising with suppliers for materials and machinery for site.
  • Will mainly be out of the road, although some office/admin work will be required.
  • Managing existing client base, as well as expanding and winning new business/contracts.
    • The Candidate:
  • Knowledge of industrial and commercial roofing, ideally with a few years working experience within the industry.
  • Knowledge of different roofing systems - Sheeting, Liquid Coatings, Felt, Single Ply.
  • Good IT and numerical skills, to input information onto reports/estimates.
  • Ability to work within a team, but also independently manage own workload.
