Quality Engineer (Foundry)Dudley£40,000 to £45,000 DOE + Company Bonus + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Company Pension + Company Benefits + Progression OpportunitiesMonday to Friday. DAYSQuality Engineer position available a well renowned manufacturer who supply to a range of different industries. They have a great reputation within their industry and a large portfolio of innovative products. You will contribute to the ongoing success ofthe company and progression opportunities are readily available.The role would suit Quality Engineers with strong manufacturing and engineering experience. Quality Engineers who have previous experience working within a foundry or heavy engineering background or with a strong metallurgical knowledge will have a considerableadvantage. You must have previous experience of working to ISO9001 quality standards.Reporting to the Foundry Customer Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the full quality lifecycle of products. You will deal with initial enquiries, improve quality systems and processes on site and deal with any customer/quality complaints. Thereis a good mixture of customer interaction, shop floor activity and office quality administration within this role.This is a varied role with a high level of responsibility within an exciting phase of company growth. You will join a company who are passionate about their products, value their staff within a great team environment and are truly a brand associated withquality.Quality Engineer Role:*Addressing customer concerns, coordinating solutions via action plans*Ensuring customer standards are understood and implemented at all stages of manufacture*Internal Audits*Creation of work instructions and standards documents*Visual inspection of products*Route cause analysis of non conformances, investigation of quality complaints*Maintaining ISO:9001 quality standards*Assisting with the implementation of TS16949*Monday to Friday. Days. Travel to customer site will be requiredQuality Engineer:*Must have previous experience as a quality engineer*Applicants will ideally have experience within a foundry, metallurgical or heavy engineering background
