QA Automation Engineer - Permanent - Dudley - upto £55K + benefitsQA Automation Engineer - Permanent - Dudley - upto £55K + benefitsWe are looking for a for a highly motivated Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our product development teams. The Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will work with other agile team members to complete testing and analyze software components to ensure usability and applicability to the business/customer requirements. This person will also create test scripts and perform regression testing, while providing testing support of all products, environments, software/hardware upgrades, installer testing. The person will also be involved in requirements writing as needed and SaaS integration testing during releases/maintenance and help with tool selections and tuning.Job Skills/Requirements· Open to Software existing automation tools and ability to recommend updates or changes.· Expertise in defining the programming skillset to include database automation data/framework· Deliver leading-edge product to software development team and discuss verification protocols· Exemplify and illustrate accurate testing, design and implementation of testing· Carry out ideas for automated software test procedures· Analyzing and critique software bug reports and highlighting problem areas· Enforce automation scripts and implementing software applications· Designing and installing software databases and seed data· Oversee troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures· Collaborate across all development & QA team members to resolve application faults· Act as a subject matter expert (SME) within automation design, testing and deployment· Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team· Function as a positive role model for the department and communicate department visions and strategies where appropriate· Conduct other assignments which assist in carrying out the mission of the company· Exceptional attention to detail, verbal communication and analytical skills· Willingness to perform manual QA with precision when needed· Comprehensive experience in application operations, bug replication and testing procedures· Ability to identify any potential deficiencies or flaws within software· Excellent troubleshooting skills for automation software processes· Experience with Quality Assurance Testing tools such as: SmartBear, SoapUI, SeleniumQualifications Required:· Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or minimum of equivalent work experience required • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance testing with some automation testing experience
