Job Description

A Press Brake Setter / Operator is required for a steel processing company in the Dudley area. It is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company during a period of sustained growth.This is a temporary to permanent role with long term opportunities available for successful candidates.Duties include:

  • Operating and setting an Amada Press Brake
  • Using a CNC controlled press brake to bend sheet and plate material
  • Helping and assisting with maintaining the machinery when required
  • Material handling; use of overhead crane and FLT to handle steel
  • Banding, packing and palletising stock if required
    • A background in press brake setting and the steel processing industry is required for you to be considered with experience setting and operating an Amada Press Brake. You do not require it, but experience operating the overhead cranes to handle steel will also be beneficial.Working Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm, but with ability to be flexible as shifts may change to a rotating pattern of 6:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm / 10:00pm - 6:00am. Flexibility is required so if you are unable to work shifts, this position may not be suitable.Pay rate will be between £10.00p/h - £11.50p/h for the right candidate with experience.If you think this Press Brake Setter position is right for you, APPLY NOW!
