You will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 in Physical Education.Duties will include:Preparation and planning lessonsSupervising student progressMarking and schemes of workManaging classroom disciplineResponsible for advancing students’ physical ability and knowledge of sportsResponsible for the welfare of students and for ensuring that students can gain the qualifications they need to advance their education or their desired career paths after schoolSupervising practical PE lessons, including both indoor and outdoor classesQualifications Required:The successful candidate will hold a Teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply) in Physical EducationAt least 6 months experience teaching KS3 & KS4 PE Experience of planning, delivering, assessing and evaluating teaching and learningThe ability to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject area and the ability to provide timely, accurate and effective feedback on learners attainmentStart/closing dates: As soon as possible for 6-8 weeksInterview dates: As soon as possibleType of employment: Full-time/short-term contract.
