Job Title: Paediatric Registered NurseTrust Location: DudleyPay Rates: £17.01 - £28.00 excl holiday payShift Patterns: Earlies, Lates, Long days, Weekends and Bank HolidaysAs a Paediatric Nurse, youre not just taking care of a baby, child or teenager. More than in any other nursing role, youre nurturing the needs of a family.The paediatric and neonatal clinical unit consists of three separate areas:

  • Neonatal unit
  • Paediatric ward
  • Paediatric outpatients
The paediatric units provide warm and welcoming environments that will give you the space and facilities to provide exceptional, child-centred care.   • Adapting the way, you care for children compared with adults based on their developmental stage, their age and health condition.

What youll be responsible for
  • Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
  • Checking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic tests
  • Recognising, responding to, and managing emergency situations
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate standards of evidence-based nursing care
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.Youll need to have the following qualification/experience:
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute Paediatric hospital environment within the last 3 years
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
  • Undertake regular mandatory training
