Job Description

Pertemps Dudleyare currently seeking a skilled and experienced MIG Welder to join ourclients team in Dudley. Our client is a leading manufacturer who is looking for a MIG Welder, due to growth.As a MIG Welder, you will play a crucial role inthe production process. Your primary focus will be on fabricating and assembling metal components according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications provided.Responsibilities:

  • Operate MIG welding equipment to weld and join various metal components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand welding requirements.
  • Set up welding machines, select appropriate welding materials, and adjust parameters for optimal weld quality.
  • Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of welding equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members and follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.
  • Knowledge of welding safety protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
