Applicants must have good 2D and 3D CAD design experience. Applicants with experience withSolidWorks package will have a considerable advantage.Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will work closely with the sales team to provide technical support for a range of customers within the water industry. The role is solutions based, you will travel to site alongside a member of the sales team to understandcustomer issues and try to present resolutions. This will involve remodification of existing design for current company products or in some cases it will be concept based and there will be an element of design from scratch. The role is split between the officeand the shop floor. You will be responsible for quality checking, testing and validation of products. As part of your role, you will also be the technical point of contact for any quality issues or customer complaints and rectify these in a timely manner.To assist the workshop, you will design tooling or detail current tooling for documentation purposes to make things more efficient moving forward.This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a varied role, where no two days are the same. Monday to FridayThe Person:*Can transfer from ANY CAD Design, Mechanical/Technical Product Support, Mechanical Design or Draftsperson Background*MUST have experience within a manufacturing environment*Must be competent with both 2D and 3D design - SolidWorks is advantageous
