Job Description

Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant on behalf of a rapidly growing organisation based in Dudley on a full-time, permanent basis. Working as part of a large and diverse team, you will be reponsiblefor developing, maintaining and distributing ad-hoc in-depth analysis, reports and financial models as required whilst being responsible for your own portfolio of P&Ls.Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly profit and loss account and variance report with commentary
  • Review operational income and expenditure and post journals as required
  • Monitor KPIs, highlighting insightful and accurate trends and analysing variances
  • Cost recharges, management and reporting on capital expenditure
  • Assist the Commercial Accountants with producing performance reports and P&L forecasts
  • Assisting with acquisition implementation projects
The ideal candidate will be commercially aware and actively studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA), with some previous experience in a similar role and exposure to month end in a large, fast-paced accounts department. You mustpossess excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with and present to senior management and non-finance colleagues.
