Job Description

  • Receive/Download Customer Schedules by Email, EDI or Customer Portals
  • Analyse Customer schedules and highlight variance / demand changes impacting plant S&OP
  • Customer interface for MP&L issues, deliveries and demand requirements and customer site visits / reviews.
  • Working with Production to understand product availability provide the customer with delivery information
  • Provide production requirements, picking / load information and labelling where required to associated teams.
  • Liaise with material planning regarding material requirements and changes
  • Escalating issues such as late deliveries and short shipment with recovery proposals / solutions
  • Control of delivery notes and EDI/ ASN for specific customer portfolio to ensure accurate on time billing and zero invoice queries.
  • Maintaining/disputing logistics NCRS, leading / participating in problem resolution tasks.
  • Ensuring Compliance with TS16949 and IATF16949 Policies and Procedures.
  • Participate or lead departmental and site continuous Improvement Activity.
  • Deliver departmental financial targets: premium freight etc. within allocated portfolio.
  • Control and presentation of customer portfolio metrics including key actions.
  • Control of customer packaging levels and regular reporting of stock levels and damage container control to minimize financial impact.
  • Provide comprehensive efficient logistics support to all areas of the business
  • Work with projects to support new product introduction and customer change control
  • Liaise with the third party and customer transport companies to optimise dispatch workloads with other planners.
  • Control of SAP master data for allocated portfolio to ensure stock optimization delivery of customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Support the department and business with duties aligned to tour skills and responsibilities as requested
  • Cover / support colleagues as requested.
