Collaborate with the class teacher and teaching assistants to provide tailored support, contributing to overall class achievement.Key responsibilities include:

  • Support and supervise individuals, small groups, or the entire class during activities.
  • Maintain a purposeful environment aligned with lesson plans to foster inclusion and growth.
  • Assist the teacher in planning and implementing each lesson, including resource preparation.
  • Provide regular feedback on student achievement and progress to teachers.
  • Model and promote positive behaviour, utilising appropriate language and communication skills.
  • Follow, implement, and adhere to the schools behaviour policy, contributing to managing challenging behaviour.
  • Establish constructive relationships with colleagues, external professionals, and parents.
