As part of that strategy we are heavily investing in the UK business and are making significant strides in our transformation journey.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Lead Trainer / Instructor. As an experienced person in the development of people in Safety and Operational needs you will ensure everyone is fully trained and can do their job effectively, and help employees learnnew skills and develop existing ones. You will use your skills to aid and enhance in-house instructors in safety and operational training requirements, you will also be support to the Operational Safety Training Manager.Role Overview:

• Administer Safety & Operational training to KMUK site(s) primarily Dudley.
• Assist in development of In-house courses, Manage Dudley Safety and Operational Training Requirements.
• Ability to travel and undertake training, audits and or reviews within Kloeckner Metals UK business locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees training programmes that include web-based seminars, printed manuals, group sessions, training videos, and more
• Determines the Operational Safety training needs within Dudley and communicate by meetings with managers, talking with employees, or administering surveys
• Assist in monitoring training programmes and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and makes updates as necessary
• Presents in-person and online training sessions.
• Uses the Sphera-Cloud system to schedule training sessions, organizes information technology and other equipment, and manages course enrolment, training record etc,.
• Assist Operational Safety Training Manager implementing new learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments.
• Assist Operational Safety Training Manager in maintaining and understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods
• Development of individuals within Operational Training. Keep up to date with new and ongoing advances in technology and processes.

Relevant Experience Will Include:

• Proven work experience as a trainer
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication, Interpersonal Communication and leadership skills
• Track record in delivering training programs
• Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
• Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
• Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
• Good computer and database skills inc. MS PowerPoint, Word & Excel
• Problem Solving, , Critical Thinking, Planning Skills
• Time Management
• Attention to Detail
