Job Description

IT Support Technician (ICT Systems) £20,000 - £26,000 + excellent training + 25 days holiday + pension DudleyAre you an IT support Technician looking to work for a global leader in its field offering and excellent training and development package to take your career to the next stepDo you want to work for a multi-national business with endless opportunities for career advancementOn offer is the opportunity to be trained in advanced LAN knowledge, OS and software rollout, SAP user support and knowledge, Excel VBA coding, SQL knowledge, MS Domain administration and Avaya Phone system administration.The primary role will be to act as first line support to solve user hardware and software issue and assist in the maintenance of the company IT software and hardware. The successful applicant will be involved in a wide range of IT support and project implementationactivities. The role:

  • Support of all ICT systems for all UK sites - User equipment (Windows desktops, laptops and Android Mobile phones), telecoms, printers, networks and software (Windows, Office, SAP + bespoke systems)
  • Improving knowledge to advance to 2nd line support role
  • General IT administrative work for IT and other departments if required
  • Assisting the IT department on IT projects
  • Documentation of work systems
Required Skills
  • Technical support knowledge with strong problem-solving skills in the following areas:
    • MS Windows environments, MS Office software and Android mobiles
    • Desktop, Mobile & Printer hardware support
  • Basic Networking
  • Driving license
