Job Description

IT Administrator£32,000- £37,000 Per AnnumDudleyOffice Based (40 hours flexible on start time)Permanent This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our IT department. This position will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our computers and network infrastructure. This position will also be responsible fortroubleshooting any computer issues that come up during the day. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem solving.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Act as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues and incidents, both internal and external the Systems Administrator must

  • Maintain relationships with external system vendors and service providers, which will be required to support either new solution delivery or resolution of support issues.
  • Provide hands-on support and maintenance for Servers, Desktops Switches, VoIP phones, WIFI devices, Warehouse handheld devices and Printers.
  • Carry out system configuration changes and updates to support project delivery or business-as-usual change.
  • Manage inventory of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, and retirement.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and provide recommendations for system enhancements.
  • Provide support to the business functions out of hours as and when required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experiences
  • Proven experience working with ERP Systems and WMS.
  • Proven expertise in Windows Servers & Desktops [build, configure & support]
  • Proven expertise in Citrix environment [XenApp/XenDesktop [configure & support]
  • Proven experience with MS SQL Server.
  • Proven knowledge of network technologies [LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, AD, GPO, 2FA]
  • Proven experience with Backup and recovery solutions (BackupExec)
  • Must have experience working with vendors and service providers, and influence management to deliver IT Solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
