Black Country Womens Aid (BCWA) is an established charity working across the Black Country and wider West Midlands providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking.Services range from advocacy, civil remedies, support in court, individual and group support and access to a range of therapeutic interventions. All services are client and needs led.We are looking for exceptional candidates to join our growing and successful organisation within our Domestic Abuse Team.Job title: IDVA (Independent domestic violence advocate)Positions available: 1 full time position availableStarting salary: £20,849 unqualified, £22,934 qualifiedClosing date: 26th June 2020We are looking for an IDVA to join the Domestic Abuse team based in Dudley.You will be working with high risk victims of domestic abuse. We are looking for someone who has experience of working with victims/survivors of domestic abuse one both one to one and in group work settings. We are looking for a qualified IDVA, however will provide full training and support for the right candidate.You will be required to provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a service to those at highest risk.
