Job Description

HR Advisor/ HR Business Partner - Based in West Midlands c £35,000 - £40,000 immediate start - temp and possibility of permanent role coming up

  • Our client is looking for an immediately available HR person to truly partner with the business, to provide first class ER case management advice and guidance on Employee Relatoins / ER issues.
  • This will suit someone who has been an HR Business Partner/ HR Advisor/ HR Consultant/ People Advisor/ HR generalist / People Business Partner or similar
  • The successful candidate will need to have experience up top and inclduing tribunal level/ case management/ collating bundles etc in:
  • HR capabilities, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, absence management, the Equality Act, appeals and flexible working
  • Providing the business with pragmatic and commercial based solutions whilst considering both the employment legal and risk framework.
  • Training, coaching and developing line managers
  • Support the progress of Tribinals ETs, COTs and settlement agreements liaising ACAS as necessary.
  • Support the teams with HR generalist ad hoc projects across the business.
  • Compile reports, review data and make recommendations to the business on current trends.
  • Develop, review and update People policies and procedures.
You will need to haveEmployee relations experience.Strong knowledge of current Employment Law.Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills and ability to hold challenging conversations in a way which leads to the desired outcomes.Highly organised and self-motivated with good attention to detail.Experience of managing and prioritising own workload in a high volume, demanding environment with changing priorities.Able to build and maintain effective working relationships, both face to face and over the telephone.Excellent coaching skills and effective questioning techniques.Full or part CIPD recognised qualification is essential.Experience of working within a manufacturing environment ideally within a unionised environmentCommutable from Dudley, Brierley Hill, Merry Hill, Quinton, Wolverhampton, Bearwood, Halesowen, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Edgbaston, Harborne, Moseley, Kings Heath, Droitwich, Kidderminster, Clent, Worcester
