We are looking for inspirational tutors to support KS3/4 children with ADD/ADHD in their own homes.Term time only/ School hours apply.As a Tutor, you must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lesson to bridge gaps in children’s education. You must be an experienced tutor or teacher or have experience of working with children in a therapeutic way. One of your aims will be tosupport and re-engage children in their learning, offer structure back into their daily routine, continuing their educational development.Prior experience supporting students with SEN needs/ EHCP’s in a school setting or tutoring position is required.£26.62 per hour (2 hours paid planning and preparation for 10 hours of tuition per week)/.Experience, Training and Qualifications of the Tutor:• QTS or equivalent• Possess UK classroom teaching experience.• Up to date Knowledge of the National curriculum• Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box.• Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils.• Have experience supporting children with additional needs.To be eligible for this role:• Hold the right to work in the UK• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.SMART Education recruits into Teaching Jobs in Birmingham and across the West Midlands, and into Home Tutor jobs across the UK.
