Job Description

Electrical Project Engineer£45,000 - £50,000 + Overseas Allowance (OTE £18-20k) + Training + Excellent Company BenefitsDudley, West Midlands (Commutable from: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, and Bromsgrove)Are you an electrically biased Engineer, looking for a new and exciting challenge, working for a global engineering company on a range of heavy engineering projectsThis is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your abilities in a highly varied and technical role, where you will play a pivotal part in the ongoing success of the business.This international company are market leaders and have a great reputation within the industry, known for their high quality, reliability and brilliant customer service. Due to an upcoming retirement, then are now looking for a new addition to their Electricalteam.You will be split between office and site, covering UK and overseas, so the successful candidate must be willing to travel away as required, from which you will receive an enhanced overseas allowance to compensate.The ideal candidate will be an electrically biased Engineer, from a heavy engineering background, with the ability to fault find and PLC program, looking for a technical interesting and long-term role.The Role:

  • Working on processing line projects within the heavy engineering industry
  • Looking at machine wiring diagrams and component selections to determine requirements
  • Writing functional descriptions and creating electrical equipment lists
  • PLC programming (if have experience)
  • Going out to site to help commission, fault find and get lines up and running
  • 60:40 office to site based work (UK and overseas)
The Person:
  • Electrically biased Engineer
  • Hands on experience within the heavy engineering industry
  • Ideally able to fault find and commission
  • Any PLC programming experience is advantageous (not essential)
  • If have knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics then highly advantageous
  • Willing to travel and work away as required
